Diffuser, ejector of centrifugal self-priming pump. Works on the basis of the principle of hydroaerodynamics of a channel with a variable internal diameter (Venturi tube), in which the flow slows down. This results in a static pressure difference compared to a straight pipe of the original cross-section. Due to the pressure difference, liquid is sucked in from a higher pressure to a lower one, plus the centrifugal force of the impeller = increased pump efficiency
