How to choose a rivet belt for a plane
In order to choose the most correct drive belt for your electric planer, you need to provide:
- belt length
- belt width
- number of “streams” (protrusions on the belt)
- distance between streams (in some cases)
- "belt pattern" (not a stretch thread, as in the photo) around both pulleys inside the groove, exactly in mm. Tip: mark the intersections of the thread with a marker and measure between the markers
- if the belt is torn, its length (not recommended)
With these numbers in hand, find similar belts in our list of belts
If you haven’t found it, send your request to us via contacts
If you made a slight mistake during the first attempt, send the belt back and we will change it taking into account the error.
To make the hit more accurate, we can send you several belts that best suit your parameters, one of which will certainly fit, return the unnecessary ones back
